I hope this email finds you healthy, safe, and well as we all continue to navigate a COVID-19 world.
On our end, we have been receiving an increasing number of inquiries and expressed interest in LSCI training recently. Endless thanks to all who have been able to press forward with providing LSCI training both in person and via Zoom over the past year! You are so appreciated–and the young people in our care need the LSCI approach now, perhaps more than ever!
If you are offering LSCI training in person in the Northeast United States or via Zoom any time in the next two months, would you please email me if you can accommodate an additional (paying) participant? We have a very promising organization looking to adopt LSCI training and I’d love to be able to provide a great experience for their leader. Email: [email protected]
Other quick reminders:
1. Our need to mentor and certify new, high-quality Senior Trainers never ends. Please continue to keep your eye out for dynamic, intelligent trainer candidates such as yourself and share with them this information on how to become a certified Senior Trainer for the LSCI Institute.
2. Don’t forget that although we will not be able to gather in Cleveland this Summer for our Trainer Re-Certification Conference, we will be hosting a virtual event on Monday, August 2nd. Please save the date!
3. The 3rd edition of the LSCI textbook is under production and expected to be available in early June 2021. Keep your eyes out for notifications and lots of excitement! Many of you have asked about updates to training materials, to coordinate with the 3rd edition. We have made necessary updates and adjustments to specific terms, but the major overhaul of materials we offered in 2020 was already aligned quite well with the new text, so you won’t need to learn major new ways of teaching or expect significant changes to materials. Can I get an amen? Updated materials will become available as soon as the new text has been published.
